Sabine is interested in all sorts of cool biology and history facts, the more unusual the better. She is passionate about the incredible diversity of plants, animals, and biomes in California, and will ramble on forever about all the cool endemic species. She has three chickens and numerous other critters, as well as a large collection of interesting rocks. Sabine enjoys reading, writing short stories and poetry, and going to operas. She hopes one day to travel the world, nerding out about wildlife and the ruins of civilizations that died out hundreds of years ago. Until then, you can find her buried deep in a library somewhere, frantically researching obscure facts about her latest interest and drafting informational powerpoints to share with unfortunate passerby.
