Aleena Haimor is a 15-year-old aspiring author (and nurse) in the 10th grade who is currently a Staff Writer for the Lighthouse. She is an avid reader and (of course) writer, and she is currently working on her debut novel, which she hopes to publish in the future. A hard-core music and book lover, Aleena has many hobbies. She plays both piano and guitar, sings, and acts, having been in two productions with ICDT! In Danville, California and two films with Park Day Productions. Her favorite music artists include Avril Lavigne and TROY, but above all, she is a die-hard Olivia Rodrigo fan. She also enjoys musicals, her favorites including Hamilton, EPIC, and Wicked. Aleena’s favorite book series include The Hunger Games, The Prison Healer, The Inheritance Games, Percy Jackson, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, and Harry Potter. She loves to write short stories and fun informative articles for The Lighthouse, and hopes to continue for many more years!
